What services does T.O.P. Handyman Repair provide?

A lot — but the core is repairs, punch lists, and “make-it-right” fixes across multiple trades:

  • Drywall + paint: patches, texture blend, touch-ups, room refreshes
  • Doors + trim: installs, repairs, conversions, casing/baseboard/finish work
  • Tile + flooring: small repairs, replacements, LVP/laminate installs (project-dependent)
  • Cabinets + fixtures: sinks, vanities, hardware, installs/repairs
  • Light electrical + smart home: fixtures, switches/outlets, cameras, doorbells, Wi-Fi/smart setup
  • Light plumbing: faucets, disposals, toilets (repair/replace), clogs (when appropriate)

What areas do you service?

Primary service area is Houston + surrounding suburbs, especially: The Heights, Katy, Cypress, Jersey Village, Memorial, Spring Branch.

If you’re outside that (NW corridor like Conroe/Woodlands/Magnolia/Tomball/Waller and beyond), text your zip and photos — travel is sometimes possible depending on schedule and job size.

How much do handyman services cost?

Pricing depends on scope, access, finish level, and whether materials are included. The fastest way to get accurate pricing is to send photos + your address/zip + a short description.

Do you offer emergency or same-day service?

Sometimes — it depends on the schedule and how urgent the situation is. If it’s time-sensitive, call or text for the quickest response.

How do you handle unforeseen issues or complications?

If something unexpected shows up (hidden damage, failed fasteners, wrong parts, etc.), work pauses and you get a quick explanation + options. If it changes the price or scope, you’ll get an updated quote before we proceed.

Can I set a fixed appointment time, or is it a window?

Usually it’s a window, because job lengths can vary. But I respect your time: you’ll get updates if anything changes and I’ll communicate clearly if I’m running behind.

Do you provide warranties or guarantees for your work?

Yes — workmanship is something I stand behind. Warranty details depend on the job type and will be discussed in the quote when needed. Manufacturer warranties apply to the products themselves.

How do I prepare my home for service?

Simple prep makes everything faster and cleaner:

  • Clear the work area (move décor, furniture, personal items as needed)
  • Secure pets (especially for doors, power tools, open entryways)
  • Make sure there’s parking/access and an adult decision-maker available
  • If applicable: access to the breaker panel, water shutoff, attic hatch, or garage

If a job needs special prep, you’ll hear it before we arrive.

Do you offer recurring maintenance or service contracts?

Yes. Great for landlords, busy homeowners, and small businesses. We can set up scheduled maintenance, seasonal punch lists, and preventative fixes.

Do you do small jobs, or only big projects?

Both. Small jobs and punch lists are a big part of what I do — especially the “five things nobody else wants to handle.”

Do you provide materials, or can I buy my own?

Either works. I can source materials for you, or install customer-selected items. If you buy your own, send the exact model/link so we can confirm compatibility before install.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit/debit, cash, Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay. Checks: commercial clients only.
